Hatred
Remorse

Disrespect

How do you not feel it too

These are the things
I've learned to be true.

Don't try denying them
I'm quicker than I look
Had to have been better than that
I can read you like a book.

Thought you were different

If you can do it

Figure it out

This poem is done in 2 parts, the italicized part, and the regularly typed part. It's two different views. The italicized portions are what I'm feeling, what is being thought, while the normally written part is written as if it is someone on the outside. 2 different points of view if that makes any sense.... If not, you'll see what I mean.

Figure it out

I'm done trying
I can't say anything
I'm closing off

I say something
I hurt someone
Is the truth
Really what is wanted now?
People want
But do they think?

Want the truth
But don't want the words
Want the thought
But don't want the results
Want the knowledge
But not the whole sentence

Words hurt
It's true enough
But those you love
Who love you
Are the only ones
You can trust
To tell you what you don't want to hear
Yet what is needed

Deal with it
Accept it
Take it in
And love those who said
The words to let you know
To make you stronger

Yet striking back
Shouldn't be done
They loved you enough to say

Pushing back
Will close them off

True Love

True Love

Trees and bushes dance
As the wind blows
Waves crash on the shore
As the moon wills it so

Tears slip down my face
As I call your name
Shuddering in silence
As them I try to tame

When love comes knocking
At the door

Always the same

Each time I get upset or feel a little down, I write. I don't think about what I write, I just do. So keep in mind as you read this, it was a spur of the moment. I had a strong emotion and I rode it into this. This isn't a great poem, but it was enough to serve it's purpose, to help me get back into my head, and think about things, keeping me from doing something rash. People often ask how I can always stay so calm, well this is how. Self control is always helpful, but this, writing, it expresses how I feel in a way that doesn't have to be understandable, because it's all my own.

Always the Same

Each day I'm pushed
Pushed a little harder
Until one day
I won't have a say
And that is when
Without a doubt
I'm going to snap

It's different
The comfort of it,
All of it,
Is gone.
Simply pushed away.

It's always the same
Every time
Time after time
Nothing ever changes.
Always the same

No matter how much you want it to
No matter how much you beg
No matter how much you hope it to
Nothing is ever stuck like glue
Nothing is ever permanent like you wish it to

You think
You wish
You hope
You wonder
But in the end
Love shall always plunder
After all
It's always the same.
